I'm John Carpenter, Founder of Bluewater Search Group.
My mother, Esther Carr, spent more than twenty years building a respected career in executive search. Growing up around the business gave me an early appreciation for the impact the right hire can have on a company, and on someone's life.
Over the last thirty years, I've hired, recruited, interviewed, and built teams across multiple industries. For the past fourteen years, recruiting has been my profession, but helping businesses build stronger teams and helping people find the right opportunities has been the constant throughout my career.
That experience shaped the way I see business today. Hiring is only one part of building a successful organization. Leadership, retention, growth, and the decisions you make about your people have just as much impact on your success as the people you bring through the door.
